Sr. Python Django Developer

 VPSG is seeking to hire a Sr. Python / Django Developer to support our Federal Government customer. 

Work Location: Remote

 • Responsible for working very independently on architecture, new development and implementation of an application that meets the needs of the requirements provided. 

 • 5+ years of experience in a commercial setting, building and deploying web applications using the Python ecosystem with Django. 

• Experience with API design (Rest or SOAP) 

• Experience working in other accompanying technologies preferred:  PostgreSQL database and AWS services. • Previous experience in a large scale, fast-paced environment is a plus! 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with on and offshore developers, and the ability to work independently.

 • Strong communication, both written and verbal.

 • Great active listening skills.

• Strong time management and organization skills.

 • Adaptability and flexibility.
